I just want to know, Why there isn't quests in Factions and Nightfall that gives Skills as a reward.. Thats so stupid, now you have to buy every single skill..
Also doing quests now after level 20 is just poinltess.
I bought proph, Played it, loved it.. then bought faction and nightfall at once and i can't play them, they are so freaking boring..

The original skill quests in Prophecies tended to force people to play a specific set of builds. A limited number of smite skills meant monks were healers, defensive only, etc. With having few skill rewards but greater cash rewards, you can now set up your build the way you want it to be rather than someones predefined idea of what skills you should have. As far as nightfall goes though, consider the hero skill trainers as skill rewards because if your character is the right class to use a skill you pick, then it's available for you to use it, hero skills aren't just account unlocks, they are also character unlocks.

I preferred the Proph way.

If you needed skills in Proph, buy them.

If you can wait, you got for free. Kind of an incentive to play through all the quests if you asked me.

I agree, however, it's not nearly as bad in Nightfall as it was in Factions. I think they've attained a nice balance. I'd still prefer to see skills as quest rewards, but Factions was crazy.

One thing that annoys me is that all the elites I have unlocked on my Prophecies account are only available to my Heroes.
